In Memory of Richard Albright

The Cats in the Cradle family has lost a friend in Richard Albright.  Richard and his partner, Scott, spent many evenings and weekend days cleaning cages and offering a friendly pat on the head to abandoned cats and kittens.  On occasion, they also gave a home to a particularly lost kitty who otherwise would have spent many extra days looking for love .

Richard recently passed away.  We will remember his generous spirit and wonderful smile and always be appreciative of his help and caring for animals in need.   Scott, our thoughts are with you.

The volunteers take care of me and that is vey comforting. I like kitty treats and fun toys. I like comfortable beds too. I also like to sing. I sing whenever I see people and I can carry a tune! In time, I will be happier because I will find a new home. It is difficult right now but the future shou...read more about Aria

Do you have a barn?

Are you looking for a natural way to reduce rodent population? CITC has many barn cats in need of good homes. All are spayed/neutered, tested and vaccinated.  There is no adoption fee.

Check out this article for more information on why your barn needs a cat, then contact us for more information!

Nona's Club

Please read Nona's Story under Rainbow Bridge.

CITC is continuing with an emphasis on finding homes for those kitties who have been with us for more than a year or who need a little extra help to gain recognition because they are shy, timid or somehow lack the self confidence to successfully relate to potential adopters and show their true "purr-sonalities."  These kitties are wonderful and loving animals but they need a little extra help to orient to a new environment and will need the kind patience of  a loving owner.   The adoption fee is reduced.

The following kitties are members of Nona's Club.   You can read their stories under Available Animals.
