Welcome to the Cats in the Cradle website!

Cats in the Cradle, Inc. is a no-kill, all-volunteer, 501(3)© non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of stray and special needs cats and kittens. CITC believes that all cats and kittens deserve the chance to live a life that is free of hunger, fear, pain and disease.

PHOENIX

Hello, my name is Phoenix and I am an adorable 8 week old kitten. I am perfect in every way except that I was born without back paws. Don't be sad. I can run and jump and have strong back legs. I'll just be a little shorter in the back than in the front. My expert vet who has seen all kinds of things, says that I will be just fine as I grow and mature. He says to have you call him for verification. I am ready for adoption. I hope you will give me a chance.

Nona's Club
Please read "Nona's Story"
CITC is continuing with an emphasis on finding homes for those kitties who have been with us for more than a year or who need a little extra help to gain recognition because they are shy, timid or somehow lack the self confidence to successfully relate to potential adopters and show their true "purr-sonalities." These kitties are wonderful and loving animals but they need a little extra help to orient to a new environment and will need the kind patience of a loving owner. The adoption fee is reduced.
The following kitties are members of Nona's Club. You can read their stories under Available Animals.
