CITC History 
Cats in the Cradle, Inc. (CITC) is the culmination of over 20 years of rescue work aimed specifically at saving the lives of cats and kittens and finding permanent homes for them. To date, CITC has been able to make a difference in the lives of over 10,000 cats and kittens and has been actively involved in efforts aimed at achieving zero population growth by spaying and neutering all cats and kittens before adoption.
What We Do 
While our kitties are waiting to go to loving and permanent homes ,w e provide daily medical care, nutritious food, comfortable beds, clean litter and a safe and loving environment.
All the cats and kittens in CITC's care receive the following:

There are over 60 million homeless cats and kittens in the United States and these numbers are growing every day. One unaltered female cat is capable of producing at least 2 litters of kittens each year. Left unchecked, her successive offspring will breed exponentially, producing over 1 million kittens in only 10 years. Most cats and kittens euthanized in shelters are victims of overpopulation and should not have to die simply because they were born. Every cat and kitten CITC alters keeps countless offspring from being born. This helps to save the lives of cats that are already here.
